We convene twice during the school year to meet our colleagues from around the state and work on issues related to our discipline. We exchange ideas, air concerns, and seek and receive support from each other. We are aware that teaching Latin and other courses related to the ancient world can be challenging. The material is as difficult as it is rewarding, and specialists in it must often go it alone in buildings that tend to favor presentist subjects. At CCA we work to redress this imbalance by providing a forum for your concerns and offering support so that you can live up to your potential.
